Boss makes me run her second business. I haven’t seen a cent from it.

I have been working at my job for a year now. I started my job being paid a training wage of $11. I have been bumped up to $12.50 but I see no tips or bonuses. On top of that, minimum wage for small businesses in the city is $13. In the job description I was told I would be a cashier, and help with basic bakery tasks. What I did not know was that I would be basically running my boss’ cookie business from out of the bakery. For her cookie business I assemble trays of cookies for baking, bag the cookies, put tags on the packaging, and box the cookies. It’s around $8 per package of cookies, and everyday I am packaging around 70 packages. I would be just fine with my job if I were being paid double for doing double the work I am supposed to,…
