A coworker several times told me to “appear busy”. And I would often ask others if they needed a hand. I felt like I was getting along great. But I guess asking questions and being cautious towards work tasks and preferring clear instructions to ensure I understand something is bad. If I need to get better at something I would at least like to know what it is, rather than this vague bs. perhaps someone can enlighten me.
