Last year my husband and I had our first child. His employer offers 4 weeks paid leave and then the state leave policy kicks in and he could take up to 12 weeks with partial pay. He opted to take the whole 12 weeks.
A few months after he returned back to work his boss was leaving the company, and in his meeting told my husband the HR representative had gone to my husband’s boss and questioned my husbands work ethic since he decided to take the full leave offered. I am livid.
