It just stormed in my city really bad and I walked outside to get in my car for my shift to find out that a tree fell down directly onto my street. Naturally I tried to uber but the construction blockades will not allow for any entry or exit. I called my manager shaking from guilt to let her know and she spent nearly five minutes saying “I don’t understand what you mean” and “we really need you tonight” and I just kept explaining multiple times. When I said that I’m really sorry, she just went “yeah yeah” and slammed her phone down to hang up. Now I cant enjoy my night and feel extremely bad. Bruh
Edit: to be fair, I do call out a good bit. I don’t want to falsely paint myself as an angel in this situation. She’s probably sick of me being busy and such.
