Is it worth attending? My final day is tomorrow, but I’m thinking of just replying with a few bullet points instead. Something along the lines of:
- Ever increasing workload but no additional compensation (as a software dev, I’m now being given work and responsibilities originally for the qa/product teams)
- No longer compensated for working overtime, despite there being an expectation to do so
- Pay rises have been postponed/cancelled, which means the salary isn’t staying competitive (despite being a lead in delivering work required by major clients)
- Dangling a promotion they literally begged me to accept back in November last year (they’re also doing it for other members on the team)
I am likely going to need a reference when I begin applying for new jobs (though due to being a mid size UK based company, I’d assume the HR team would handle it rather than my line manager).
Thoughts on whether this would be appropriate? My line manager is currently cc’d on the email, but since this pretty much implicates him and his line manager, I’d be more comfortable removing him from the cc and emailing HR directly.
