I was offered a job with same title and description than the req-# I applied to, only difference is duties and area within the company department. I was offered the top of my range. I had several interviews that were based on “best fit” between two roles, one that is new and has not been posted yet. Is this a red flag or is it okay to accept? Is it normal for some companies to not post jobs and assess a candidate based on skills listed in resume & talked about in during interview? Both positions seemed okay.
