Marianne Williamson wants corporate money out of politics. I urge everyone in this sub to look into her if you actually want to change America.

Is there anyway to make my stuff private on indeed so my employer can’t be nosey and in my business I live in an at will state meaning they can let u go whenever for whatever reason so why should I have to pledge loyalty to one company lmao my dm needs to get a life or do something actually productive
It's not rocket science to mass construct cheap, insulated granny flats, however it would obliterate the profits of the oligarchs, if people were only working half the hours they are currently, their profits would not only halve, it would shrink even more, since there would be insufficient manpower for some of their capitalistic endeavors.
Our unofficial mini manager has been throwing everyone under the bus for months and been one of the densest hypocrites I’ve ever seen. When the real manager is not around she breaks multiple rules and slacks off more than any of us while simultaneously enforcing said rules. But she’s managed to make everyone but herself look like sh*t to the point that the real manager (second to the boss) has basically deemed everyone a screw-up and lazy and even threatened to encourage the boss to withhold our annual raises or cut our current wages. We have finally all seen through her shenanigans and are starting to say the quite part out loud, to at least each other anyway. But where do we go from here? Go to the real manager and point out the bull crap? Throw her under the bus like she’s been doing to us for months? Confront…
For me I have mix feelings about it. Because I work because I need money and that producitivity I do is for my money. If the reason is to put my bags away, go to the rest room etc. Okay fine. But if I have to set up my workstation, that should be paid for.
I've been working at the factory for almost 4 months. For the past month, overtime's been mandatory. The manager of my overseer asked me “Do you wanna work 6-12pm on Friday?” I asked “Is it voluntary or mandatory?” She didn't wanna answer and repeated her question. I repeated my question. She told me enough people volunteered that my being on the roster didn't matter then came back to my desk during the last 30min of work and said “Actually, you have to come in on Friday.” Why the FUCK did you frame it as a question if it was an order? You gave me the hope of an extended weekend just to squash it. I'm not mad at her. I'm mad that the guy who sits behind his desk all day(the boss of bosses) decides on a whim that we aren't producing enough and gives us overtime until we satisfy…
Some of the rules cause more stress when implemented than if they were not. They need to leave people alone. Folks have enough stress in their life as it is. They don't need to be treated like children and told to follow rules that don't always make things better. Fuck corporate culture. Just ranting. Ok, going to bed now. Gotta be up tomorrow to work. Looking forward to the day I quit this dumb job. Peace.
Walking out of my dream job
I grew up in a single parent home. Money was always tight, and when my dad did come around, there were always fights about financial problems. A latchkey kid from the jump. I spent many moments as a child being fed advice on “how to hit it big” from people around me who had never come close. By the time I graduated high school, I had all the ambition in the world but none of the resources. I began to dream about the “six-figure income” because I knew I wanted to build a different life for me and my future family. It took joining the military, a combat tour, dropping out of college a couple times before finishing, working my ass off once I got in the workforce, but finally, this January I started a job making six figures in a field that I absolutely love and at the highest…
