I’ve been working in a personal shopping department for about 8-9 months. Its bearable, i like it on occasion and my coworkers are neat. But as an autistic adult i struggle with talking to customers and have a hard time managing the stress of personal shopping. Back when i first started a particular breakdown had them suggest switching me to a fruit cutting shift where i’d be able to stay away from people, but being so early into my job i wanted to give personal shopping a chance. Lately, i’ve been drifting more to the floral department. I originally applied to floral due to having 6+ months experience but they insisted on me working in direct, when it turns out the floral manager, lovely lady by the way, needed someone with experience for months because all they would give her was temps. So I started working for this company about 2 months ago, and have worked everyday without callouts my first month. I tried calling off one day because my grandfather passed but there was no one there so I had to go in. Now today I was on break at home and my cat who I just adopted gets out of the house. I’m outside trying to find him and text work I’m going to be late. My general manager calls me and acts like I’ve wronged him. Like dude my cat is out in the streets can you not give me some time to find him? And he’s saying I’m intentionally calling off before rushes. Like what. Idk maybe I’m trippin

Why can’t governmental and less observably involved civil members/projects be directly financed through their employers/operators, instead of legally admonishing taxation with standard expenditures with food, shelter, utilities, “paycheck” deductions, transportation, and so forth?

I was fired from a serving job because the boss didn’t like me. He cussed me out in front of a table the other night so I asked to talk to him after and he told me no. I did end up talking to him about 10 mins later, he told me that I was disgusting, he called me a dog, and he told me to “do us all a favor and quit being here on earth”. I went in today to talk to the other bosses about the incident and I was told I shouldn’t come back for my own physical safety but that they wouldn’t fire me. I’m assuming that’s because of unemployment I’m not sure. Anyway, it’s still really fresh and I’m still trying to process, but does anyone know of anything I can do besides the BBB? Anything helps all love
