How about we stop saying low skill jobs when we mean jobs people do not want? People assume service workers, fast food and some retail jobs are low skill. People who think that have NO IDEA how much skill is required to put up with customers and ALL of that bs without screaming at them, throwing their crap at them, telling them to F the F off. If you want to know how much skill it requires eat some crap while smiling & asking for me ever so politely, for even 4 hours. People skills are skills many people making a crap ton of money have no clue about. O right if you have enough money you don't need ANY thing else, except to keep making more.

The organization I have worked at for 4ish months claims to do-good but I completely disagree with what they stand for. I accepted the job reluctantly because of this but I was desperate for work for personal reasons and had to. I feel embarrassed to tell people where I work and feel guilt every day about what I do, which has definitely impacted my morale at work. But for many reasons, I need to stay there for another 9 months. It stresses me out getting through each day knowing that my work is contributing toward something corrupt and goes against my ethics and morals. Advice for how to deal with this? Does anyone else experience it at their job?

What would it be?

Back in April our director told us they were working on getting us all raises. This last weekend, we had a city wide meeting to talk about seasonal stuff and nothing was mentioned at all about it. In fact, most of the time we were getting screamed at. This weekend has been super busy and everyone is scrambling for coverage because no one can work their scheduled shifts. Vacation, camps, other locations, they forgot to factor in so many things. It’s entertaining as hell to see it all falling apart. Fuck em. I’m looking for jobs and will happily say goodbye when I can.

About Cristiana There was never a single time when she spoke to me normaly, alway with a rude and bossy attitude. She never asked politely to do something, she gave me orders to do something. The tasks that she asked me to do never made sense whatsoever. Some examples of nonsense and misbehaving : – In the preparation phase she would constantly ask me to stop what I'm doing to do something else. Eveytime I took an initiative by myself she would stop me. This is also true for the rush hour. – If I'd come early I would start to setup the basics to gain time. If we had napkins to roll I would do it . When she'd come she'd blame me for doing this instead of something else. And this is true for a lot ; I decide to put the tables outside : I get blamed…
