Like I said, I took everything. All the assigned cleaning schedules. The monthly inspection forms with the client. Documentation of each piece of equipment and it's serial numbers. Everything that I had created for them to keep the client happy and the contract running smooth. Instead of firing me I was put on the cafeteria schedule and cleaned the west side of the building including the Cafe. My replacement who had worked there as a custodian in the south building for about a month had no idea what he was doing and my new supervisor told me to train him. I was fucking guffawed. You want to come to my account and demote me and then have me train my replacement? I told him that since I had been demoted I must have been doing things wrong and I wouldn't want to pass that on. If they wanted to replace…

I was having a conversation with my team supervisor and we addressed layoffs that happened at my company over a month ago (20% of the work force was laid off). Though annual raises are not promised, they are based on your performance and thus far I’ve been exceeding all of my quarterly goals. I mentioned that I would be bringing up to my manager during 1:1 what the expectations will be to qualify for a raise so I can start accomplishing those. She answers this with – oh I don’t see company giving out any raises anytime soon, I would talk to your ex to see if you can get more money for child support so that you have additional money in your bank account (her and I have gone to lunch together where I expressed that my ex has been signing up for more overtime, which is resulting our…
The epidemic of laid off bootlickers
I don’t get this trend on LinkedIn of ppl fawning over the company who told them for years they were “family” only to lay them off . I get you don’t want to look bitter and seem graceful and not burn bridges but it goes to the point where it’s sickening that they have to farm likes for being laid off while they say how much of a great company it is. You’re a number!! It’s sadistic – your CEO’s are getting bonuses while you’re on the breadline and you’re a sentence away from thanking them for it .. ugh
Title: The American Revolution of 2023: Echoes of Change Synopsis: In the year 2023, the United States of America was gripped by a revolutionary fervor akin to the historic events of the French Revolution in 1789. As a nation long rooted in democratic principles and aspirations, the United States had reached a tipping point, burdened by socio-economic disparities, political disillusionment, and a yearning for a more inclusive society. The American Revolution of 2023 became a transformative movement that aimed to reshape the nation's trajectory and redefine the principles on which it was built. Just as the French Revolution was catalyzed by a deep divide between the aristocracy and the common people, the American Revolution of 2023 emerged from a growing wealth gap and a sense of exclusion among marginalized communities. Decades of economic inequality, stagnant wages, and the concentration of power in the hands of the few…
This year has really sucked. Between COVID and every other disease my daughter brought back from daycare and the Adderall shortage making it impossible for me to succeed at life, I feel like I've barely been able to do my job. Fortunately, the school I teach at seemed pretty cool about it – they knew about my ADHD, they weren't giving me a hard time about the missed days, I was getting the normal amount of feedback and fixing things based on it. It was a little embarrassing to find out that the students were spreading rumors about me being distracted by my laptop when they were working independently, but once I found out about it, I was able to change my habits. Apparently that didn't matter, though, because they decided not to renew my contract for next year without ever telling me that the problems were serious or offering…

Fuck your lies and fuck your greed we are the majority Stand up or die on your knees One of my fav songs and I thought because of the lyrics it could belong here hope you enjoy or appreciate it. While yes a lot of their songs address the racial inequality and segregation in America the lyrics are certainly applicable to out situations. Anyone else have any songs they listen to when they wanna start the next French revolution but know they can't(yet)?
