Am I getting quietly fired?

Help with system issues Quick question short story, I work for one of the top banks and I’m currently working from home. For the last 3 weeks I’ve been having system vpn issues. For 2 weeks I’ve been in contact with tech support with multiple escalated tickets. This is the 3rd week I’m still having tech issues. I’ve been issued 2 new computers still doesn’t work. And my job doesn’t want to pay me for their system issues. What next steps should I take? Every time I ask HR or sup about my check they say they’re investigating it. At this point idk what to do with no $.

Managers terrorising employees they don’t like

I see it as incredibly malicious, cowardly and unprofessional on behalf of upper management. Instead of having a proper discussion to try and resolve it, they’d resort to indirect malpractice such as cutting hours, withholding information and denying career progression. Let me share some examples. Crew A is very experienced, working at numerous locations. Managers dislike Crew A because of sense of entitlement, brashness and refusal to change working habits resulting in only 10 hours a week Manager B is seen as “a lazy manager”. Instead of motivating, they withhold information such as not sharing manager meetings, rosters, projections etc. Crew C has tried to be a manager numerous times but has been denied simply because Crew C is arrogant, refusing most input from managers and may be insubordinate. Everything I listed is BAD from the employees, but does it warrant them being treated like shit? One thing they all…

Not allowed record of meeting

So I've been complaining about having to do other people's job and the lack of accountability for those people not doing thier jobs. This has created a target on my back. Today my direct leader said he wanted to talk after break. When I came back from break he said we had to go down to the supervisors office. Only time you end up there is for pretty serious stuff. Manager starts hinting at where the conversation was heading and I said “I'd feel comfortable if I could record this conversation with my phone and was told “No, I don't allow that”. So when I pointed to their record keeping and said I'd feel better if I could track this conversation myself she said “no”. Hypocritical fucks.

Since being told in February that “the money just isn’t there” to give me a sufficient COLA, my employer has purchased…

2 11″ iPad Pros, a Gen 10 ThinkPad X1, and 3 GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards. In 2 months they have spent nearly double what I was asking for the entire year. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

It’s weird that the people with the most money seem to forget how the economy works.

Seeing all of the posts about CEOs raking in more money in one year than most people get in their whole lives while their employees have stories of having to be on food stamps or depending on government assistance to live, it once again proves that these CEOs never learned basic economics. What goes around, comes around. The more free capital, the higher the possible capital gains. If there is less free capital, there is in turn less potential for gains from these exact businesses. Their own greed will cause their (business') struggle and eventual downfall if they do not realize what they are doing. Or maybe this is exactly what they want to do. Maybe they want to feel like they have the power to grant economic prosperity and security for hundreds of thousands of people, but give nothing. Maybe they want to have the very workers that are…

Quitting at a call center job

Maybe like 4 years ago I had a horrible call center job for a company called c3 in Tucson Arizona. I hated it so much. Got yelled at all day dealing with cox communication cable and internet billing questions. I wasn’t to professional myself. I would argue and probably yell at these customers. I knew I wasn’t going to last after getting called into my supervisors office to get reprimanded. So I got another job it just didn’t start for one month I didn’t want to quit and have no income for weeks. I burned my pto weeks ago. So I was on a phone call when a coworker asked what I was still doing working there and I told him I’m waiting for my job to start. He pretty much told me to leave because I looked like I hated it there. So I just put my headset down…

Wildest Interview I’ve witnessed

Guy that set the interview asked for my availability last week, I provided it because I'm actively looking for work. No word back until Sunday, where he indicates my response was unclear and requests availability for this week. I provided him two dates/times. He picked one and I set the appointment(I didn't get an invite, I had to set the appointment). I call to confirm and sure enough, he communicated a different time to the guy doing the interview. I oblige and show up for when the guy doing the interview was ready for it, the wrong time but meh all good. Entering into the building Suits(we'll call him suits) is on the phone and allows me to tailgate him into the secured facility(huge red flag) and proceeds to simply walk away. There's no visible reception however he did mumble something while walking away. I followed not having heard, to…
