I have cancer and my boss has been aware however for some reason he piles my workload on so much more than others in my group. I have expressed to him 1. I am under stress 2. I am getting scans done this week and had to get some injections that cause side effects. I warned him in advance. Today I have not been feeling well as a result from the shot (nausea, dizziness and a headache plus just anxious for results) he keeps pestering me to work in the lab. But I can do things at my desk. I told him I’m not feeling well dizzy and nauseous and his response was “can’t you do a little work on your bench” like HELLO?! I mean what is with people these days!!!

Don’t you just love it…
When you’re being interviewed by the CEO and he spends half of it boasting about how much he made selling one his companies for $83 million while he’s offering minimal to his employees. Then proceeds to say he wants to hire you because you seem ~interesting~ and he only hires “geeky men” also he needs more women. And then….after going through your duties also says you can also get him tea and coffee but then backtracks and says “only if you want to, I can also ask one of the guys” Finally ends with you getting the job because he likes your spirit and he’s “wild” too. What y’all think I should start my rejection email with?
My biggest concern is businesses paying the same amount per hour but cutting people down to 32 hours. I make $10 an hour working 40 hours I get $400 dollars. Law comes into effect, boss drops my hours to 32 but still making $10 an hour so my check is now $320 a week. Same with salary, they just cut salaries by 20% (new hires and maybe even try it on the people they have.)
At first I was really pumped to have an office job where I can also learn some useful skills. But I'm starting to feel like this is not for me. I was told they would teach me everything, this is unfortunately reflected on my salary, which is below average. If I wasn't living with my GF, I would have to live in a shared flat just to pay bills. There are two workplaces. First one is just picking up calls/reading emails/looking at tickets, and the second one is on-site IT support for office workers, things like replacing printer ink and resetting Teams. I used to do a lot of physical labor, and I actually find myself more tired than before. I'm half asleep on my way to work, sleeping at work until 1pm when I finally start to feel awake, half asleep on my way home and finally taking 1-2h…

When You Really Work Hard.
What can I do in this situaion?
On Feb 26th when I went to work, my badge wouldn't work. I had to go to main office where a guard gives you a tremp badge. On my way down the hall, I passed my supervisor and told him about my badge. He said, “Thats odd. We will be seeing you shortly and talk about it.” Okay… Then I see Im scheduled for training… I dont have any training to do tho. Half hr after sitting on computer messing around wondering what Im supposed to be doing, 1 of the process leads tells me I need to go talk to the supervisor. I meet him, the assist sup & a security guard where Im told “(My employer) decided to look into my attendance and has decided to terminate you.” After sitting there in misbelief bc my attendance wasn't bad, I was escorted to my locker, asked to hand over…
