I am currently unemployed and at the verge of being homeless. I really want this call center trafficking job, so I can earn above the minimum wage. The thing is they want experience and I don't have that. Can anyone maybe help with reference and probably a long stretch but a company I can place on my resume? I was just talking to my parents about an upcoming work-trip, for which my attendance wouldn't be really necessary, but the powers that be still want me to come with. Hi guys, As the title says, I’m completely lost in life at the moment. I’m very depressed and hate my job. I have a feeling of dread and unwillingness to get up at go in the morning, there are factors outside of work which are bringing my mental health down by a significant amount too. I just want to say in general I like the people I work with, it’s just a very high stress environment. The co-owner however, has been treating me very badly, he micromanages me and doesn’t trust me. He often tells me to ask my manager if he thinks I am not correct about something, but when I do ask my manager he confirms i am indeed correct. Because we handle credit card information, we don't allow work from home due to possible PCI compliance network insecurities Business hours are were Mon-Fri from 9am-6pm. I've been hearing so many good things about this 4 day work week thing, that I thought to myself, “you know what? Fuck it. Sales have gone up because of the pandemic and we're doing good. Why not?” So I setup a company meeting and I announced that we would be trialing a 4 day work week with NO ADDITIONAL HOURS and THE SAME PAY FOR EVERYONE for 3 months.
