Got through all the paperwork in one day. Mere minutes after submitting it, I received and was alerted to a background check and obliged. The next day at work I had all new responsibilities and expectations and have been doing the extra work for three weeks now.
Manager keeps moving the goalpost. All the paperwork and credentials got knocked out in a matter of minutes; the payraise? Oh that'll take until Sunday. Oh sorry not today, we'll get it in by Tuesday. Oh, what? That still hasn't gone through? I'll call the office… Office says you should be good on Friday.
What do I do? I'm actually livid. I really need that raise and I've been doing tasks that have been put upon me in exchange FOR the raise. They've shorted me nearly $600 in the last three weeks alone just by NOT giving me the raise.
I'm going in today (On a Federal Holiday for a WHOPPING $1.50 bonus!) and I don't know how to keep bringing this up on my boss without having a complete meltdown on her.
