Helloooo,
I (25M – UK) was told alongside the rest of my team that our employment was under review and that 1 of us would be made redundant.
I received and Email at 5PM last night inviting me into a consultation tomorrow to discuss my redundancy, the other 3 members of my team received emails saying their job is no longer at risk.
As i sit here at 11:30AM my manager, HR etc have not said a word about it and everything is business as usual.
I work in sales so my incentive to do any actual work has gone through the floor, today is pretty awkward as everyone obviously knows i’m the one being cut but nobody is addressing it, what am i supposed to do all day today?
What questions do i need to ask tomorrow? Do i get paid for unused holiday? Will i get the commission i’m due to be paid next month? If they ask me to stay on until my other team member comes back from paternity leave but not sure yet because nobody has told me shit!
Any guidance is appreciated!
