I enjoy learning about history. It's really neat to see the fall and rise of empires. And one thing that is always in common is the sheer greed of the ruling classes and major wealth discrepancies. It always leads to the death of those in charge and destruction of those in that class, followed by chaos for everybody else, no matter what.
Don't the ruling classes see the anger growing amongst people? Don't they understand that we are coming to a breaking point? All that remains is a spark, a bit of leadership, hope and for us to stop being so divisive over stupid things.
You can only push people so far and when people cannot afford a good life, they will fight back. People people die and empires crumble.
Once we are so desperate, we will fight to the death because there is no alternatives.
Right now, we are paralyzed with fear of loss, fear of climate change, apathy and the assumption that there is nothing after now.
But we are at a crossroad and we have the ability to move forward together to get rid of this wealth discrepancies. If they don't give us what we want now, we will take it by force.
