I work in the beauty industry. Been busting my ass fur a tear now trying to make it. Get told by clients, others and boss about how talented I am. Rarely ever get complaints. I’m a no bs person and have no issues standing for what’s right. Anyway, boss is VERY gossipy. Found out today she told my coworker that she thinks another girl who wants to work here “seems like she has a strong drive and would hustle more than (myself) and (other apprentice).” I’m annoyed. Feels like we can’t ever win. Just when I think I’m in the good books and ive worked hard to prove myself for barely over minimum wage, I’m hit with this. It’s nonstop.
