Just as the title says, my boss decided on Friday that starting today anyone that makes anymore mistakes will be fired.
I work at a contact center so basically if there are any missed questions asked, anyone left on hold for longer than like 5-10 seconds, forgetting to put certain things in notes, etc. He'd just fire them without a formal warning or write up. He's already made some weird decisions in my opinion, like being a minute late warrants a write up which I have never heard of happening at any job I've worked at, instead of trying to understand why mistakes are happening they've just decided to throw it under the same blanket of “Oh, people are on their phones while answering calls”.
Hell, even when a mistake does happen it's not like my boss tries to find out the reason for why it's happening or help stop them from happening, he essentially just gives you a slap on the wrist and says, “Stop that, don't do that anymore, etc.” If I do end up being let go this week, then good riddance.
