She missed payroll last Friday, didn't pay by Sunday, at our Monday meeting she said she didn't do it because she was “scared of money leaving” her like her “dad did”. My head was spinning after that. She still hasn't paid me either. She's paid my partner which is okay, but I'm still out and we're at the end of the following pay period now so she'll owe me like $3k by next Friday if she doesn't pay me before then. And yes, I have filed a complaint with the relevant employment authorities 🙂
