I called in sick to work yesterday , but they said I need to file some type of form for what I can and can’t do. I said I’m not filling out that form (I said I sprained my toe when realistically I just hit it super hard on my bed.) but because of that I was said to be put on modified. I explained I’m not doing that but can go to a doctor. But they insisted I need these forms filled out. I said fuck that, I’ll just come in.
Instead I didn’t go in I got a doctors note and it was honestly the best choice of my life. I have 2 other jobs and this job I don’t care about. I do feel bad cause I’ve been there for 6+ years. But they have gone down hill and treated me like shit.
Did I do the right thing ? I don’t wanna just quit cause I have vacation to use up still.
