Cameras at our cubicles

I work at a smallish company that’s family run but trying to be more corporate every day. I’ve worked at places before that had cameras & could monitor & I’m well aware these are checked & it’s well within their rights. I just can’t help feel weird about it at my current place of employment. There’s only one camera in the large space with all the cubicles and it only shows mine.. like great view of me & anything in my space but you can’t see ANYONE else. Is this ethical? I know they check it (they have shown me & asked that I check my phone less- which I understand) But I find it very odd and unsettling that I’m clearly the only person they have the capability of watching, and are still using it to monitor- just me. Is this ethical?
