So interned at a not for profit org in the educational sector here in India, just content creation work which is nice I genuinely enjoy doing it, some background I have two immediate boss and one senior boss (he's boss of my bosses). The problem is the attitude of all 3 bosses (idk if this is a word) has gotten protessively worse since the moment I hit my 2.5 month mark and now as of today it's becoming unbearable to continue working further. They expect me to work weekends, work when I reach home (I reach by 8pm and it's a 9 to 5 job), can't take any day off to spend time with my family I actually got seriously reprimanded for it. I also am expected to work whole 8 hours and not use phone even once (to msg my mom that I've eaten lunch). They even expect from me that I'll stay back till 6 regularly even if I've arrived by 9am but can't leave by 5:30 once or twice when I've arrived at 10am.
Originally my internship was for 6 months but it's impossible to continue now and I've completed 3 months working my ass off and want to leave now, but the problem is that my salary hasn't been credited yet for the third month. I wanted to ask if I leave before my salary is credited can they withhold it? Do I really need to leave after it's credited? Idk when it will and I'm feeling very anxious about returning to office 🙁 any and all advice is very very much appreciated!!
