I’m done working for small businesses, this is the second time I get cut out of a dispensary. I want revenge on a very deep level edit: (I’m not going to do anything I guess), im just so fucking angry right now

So I manage annual renewal contracts for an IT company. During 4 month span, this can range between 400-500 individual contracts ranging from a couple hundred dollars to hundreds of thousands. I’m paid hourly, and my only extra compensation is THE PERCENTAGE of contracts I close in a quarter. Nothing to do with contract growth, etc. each contract could go to $1 and I’d be paid the same. Rant ahead. My first pregnancy was achieved after years of infertility treatments so I knew I wanted to spend some time with my baby. I read SIDS is higher in babies who go to daycare young so felt my comfort threshold was returning to work at 6m, and I really wanted it all- to work AND be a mother. I thought no problem, my employer will be happy to let me take the time off since they don’t even pay for any portion of maternity leave. They even had a policy in the handbook that childrearing leave beyond 3m of fmla was available in some cases. I frankly worked in a low traffic department where my true hours worked per week was close to 20, and that was with me creating new tasks for myself constantly because I can’t stand to sit around. The options in healthcare are vast. You can work 3 12s, 4 10s, or 5 8s depending on what you want. Administration is generally bullshit but managers are good. You can often get further schooling paid for. Sick time and vacation accumulate quickly. You can pick up extra shifts or lay waaay back and just make enough. There’s a lot to be said for it. Just a thought for folks I see with jobs they fuckin hate here.

It’s really annoying this Karen who is senior in other team stabs me in the back. So i have works need to be done usually prior 5 days ahead. I also have shipments that will need to be done like almost next month. And this Karen in the back stabbing me to the manager because she saw I didn’t work on the shipments like next month. This is so annoying that is non of her business as long as I get my stuffs done on time with quality. Fk these stupid people to mind their businesses. This time is not the employer, but the degenerated coworkers around you.
