I am flaming mad. I applied for a first shift position on Monday and had a phone interview on Friday. The HR person on the phone asked questions pertaining to the position I applied for originally than casually mentioned that the position is third shift and in a completely different department!! I interrupted the interview to tell them that I applied for a completely different job, but they told me it was filled. Why did I take the time to fill out an application and write a fucking cover letter to be lied to?

As the title says I think the 2 weeks notice is absolute trash. If an employer severs their relationship with you they can let you go right away, hell they will let you go yesterday if they could, but if you break it off you gotta stick around passing everybody in the office looking like you’re the king of Judas city. -I just had to rant

DONT LEAVE B____ ALONE ON THE LINE WHEN HES STILL TRAINING! My manager yelled at me and my favorite coworker today. I don't know if it's because he's a man, an old man, or an American man, but he seems to be the kind of scum who thinks getting angry gets you what you want; an ego based over sensitive baby man. Then right back to happy cheerful that's too gay to function. I don't like the stupid happiness that assumes empathy. I don't want to empathize anyone who thinks customer service is valid excuse to be abusive to coworkers. We're all sell outs for what we do for money. But working hard is not always working well and sacrificing others peace for your expectations is pure evil.

So my place of work has a policy that we got one week of paid time off for spring break. BUT we have to work the entire week before spring break and the entire week after spring break. I ended up leaving early the Wednesday after spring break and calling off Thursday and Friday due to having a panic attack at work and extreme anxiety. I had a doctors note for the time I was out and have proof of a med change for my anxiety. My work contacted me today (I was on unpaid leave this week to get my meds under control) and made sure I was coming back Monday and to tell me Im not getting paid for spring break.
