I work in accounting for a large public company and was reviewing transactions over the past year – I noticed some changes in certain compensations types… Further investigation revealed about $1 million dollars paid to the incoming CEO just to fucking show up on the first day. Not to mention the millions in ongoing compensation and then stock comp, etc. I really hate my job sometimes.
DO YOU NOT FEEL APPRECIATED?!
It’s Employee Appreciation Day!
What dumb shit is your company doing?
Long story shorter I've been in recruiting hell Is a 6 round process to get a job about 2,000 miles away from me The recruiters are all over the world which I've dealt with many times but here's my huge problem. The whole process has taken well over 60 days They set the final interview two weeks ago for today. The email was in mountain time so I promptly replied all trying to confirm what time I needed to be logged in because I've only ever lived in central time. No one ever responded to my email but I did speak to a recruiter this Tuesday who asked me to login at 8am central time. Since I was still out on FMLA, the contracting company I was working for decided that there was no other jobs close enough for me and outright terminated me. Ending my health insurance at a…
Hello everyone. I need some advice. Got fired few months ago for finally standing up to my “boss” during one of our 1:1. The issue was excessive micro-management and constant power plays from his side. This is a guy who was previously my co-worker whom I did not agree with very often – which visibly made him upset on numerous occasions. Now, I'm interviewing for other jobs and I always struggle to find a good explanation for why I “left” my previous job. I tried telling the truth once, immediate red flag and interview was cut short. Thoughts?
