So I just started working at this clinic a few months ago. All is pretty good so far, but I just found out that anytime I leave a little early (when there is no work left to be completed, not just dipping on patients) my manager will just go in and use my PTO without my permission to cover any time to make sure I have 40 hours on the clock, as well as using it on any federal holiday that has us closed. So for 4th of July when we were closed, I lost a two weeks of accrual.
This hasn’t ever been brought up to me by any of management and I only found out through a coworker when I was about to leave half an hour early Friday. I have no idea how they can do something like this and think themself to be a good person for using MY PTO when I never asked them too.
