I could go on for days about this bullshit but I'll stick to the past month. My company has a policy that if your internet goes down you'll be compensated for the time frame when you come back and inform your team lead or supervisor. My internet went down. I called my team lead. She, not understanding technology, I'd assume, insisted it was not and that I was just avoiding calls because my login hadn't timed out in the system yet. She angrily goes “I'm done with this conversation you will not be compensated.”
Last week I was informed i need to acknowledge write up for “unapproved overtime” and I told my boss the latest I worked past shift was 4 minutes on a call at the end of my shift. By the time I checked my system there was no write up, because I had in fact not worked over 40 hours. Anyway, I stayed logged in 10 minutes late the one day, immediately informed her, asked if I could leave 10 early. She said she'd let me know what hires
hours were at. She never did, so I logged back in from lunch 10 mins late. Log in Monday, write up for “unapproved overtime” again? Stating its the second week in a row and a third warning results in termination. Dude this was the first warning and I didn't work overtime. I asked her why she never got back to me and wrote me up for something I contacted her about to try and resolved and she called me and took on a really condescending tone and said “You have communication issues, it's really easy to make write ups go away of you just communicate nicely” to which I replied “then why did you ignore me and write me up when I tried communicating with you about this?”
She started screaming over me, I asked her why she was yelling over me, she yelled that she wasn't, etc. Total rage. She starts yelling IM DONE WITH THIS CONVERSATION and threatening my job so I told her I'm starting a new job next week and she's the reason I'm leaving and that I'm going to contact HR about her again, already did two weeks ago. She freaked out more and went off about me threatening her and said I'll be speaking to the head of our department shortly. Bruh I didn't do anything, you're making shit up. I don't have to kiss your ass for this.
Anyway, come back from contacting HR, noticed it's an abnormally long time between calls so i ask management if I'm still in queue. I was not. Only supervisors and managers can access the call queue. She tried writing me up for this last year and it went nowhere because I CAN'T TAKE MYSELF OFF THE QUEUE. Its like this lady doesn't understand there's consequences for her actions and that maybe a fucking call center supervisor job isn't the position to power trip and fabricate write ups to penalize an employee because you perceive people defending themselves as a challenge to your authority.
I have never met such a stupid, bitter, inept person in my life and I can't wait to leave on Friday.
