Hi, I just started a new shift on Sundays. I’m a caregiver and I’m taking care of an elderly lady.
The daugher in law goes to work while I’m here and she just asked me if I can take her 16 year old daughter to work?
It would be 20 extra minutes on the road for me. This is something that is obviously not my job duty.
I’m thinking of telling her the car I’m using is my boyfriend’s. He’s just letting me use it to come to work. And that he’s very crazy about that Camaro and would be upset if I’m using it outside of work.
Does this sound like a made up story or what should I tell her without sounding rude.
I should add that one of the main reasons I started this job is because it’s 8 minutes from my house
