Why is this necessary? Pay me what I'm worth and for the job described! I am not a slave for your company just because you're paying me! I shouldn't have to go “above and beyond” anything the employer wouldn't do. And the employer isn't doing my job.
What's wrong with just doing what you're paid for? As a worker you're supposed to be more altruistic than your employer? “Oh I'm not getting adequate payment for providing this service, but it's what a good person would do”. Meanwhile I don't have all my life needs met while the owner is rolling along in their third Mercedes or whatever the fuck.
