hi so i need help to formally request to have my contract hours increased.
reason is, I work over double my contracted hours in overtime for the last year. i’ve requested informally before but was told i had to ‘earn’ the hours. i have more than proved my deserving the hours (super wrong already to have to do, i know).
i’m contracted 12 hrs a week. i literally just want to be contracted at least 16 hours – 20-24hours ideally. reason being that we earn bonus every month and at 12 hours i only unlock around £80 when the hours i do should reflect almost £150-200….self explanatory really.
this month i was the reason we reached the bonus so i feel very robbed as i was paid the least bonus yet was the catalyst…. i’m being told i can’t have the hours as there are none to give but i’m working these hours every month anyways… how do i raise this formally bc i’m pissed 🙁
