Not sure where to go with this but I could use some advice. I’ve been told by an HR representative that there is an ongoing investigation on me regarding drinking or smoking while on a zoom team meeting.
I denied the allegation as I have some work ethic and respect for my job, along with 2 children that I support so doing something like drinking or smoking during working hours is something unfathomable to me.
They’re going to meet with me again soon and I’m not really sure what to do if I am fired over a false accusation.
- working here for more than 5 years
- zoom calls are not recorded to my knowledge
- basically hearsay
- I’m also actively breastfeeding my youngest
What are my options?
