I’ve been working in caregiving for about six months now. The job isn’t bad, caring for residents etc. however, I’ve never worked a job where staff talk so much shit about each other. Before this I worked in the prison system for six years and inmates don’t even complain about there jobs. In this field you help residents get changed into new clothes. You also help them get cleaned up like depends, shaving etc. honestly I’m a new father so the changes don’t bother me BUT! Staff dude…… I’ve seen people leave residents in there depends or just straight up be shitty to them.
Sorry for the rant. I honestly thought people that come into the field of care for the disabled would honestly understand that we have to help them. People are soooooooo shitty. And narcissists let’s not forget that one.
