Bit of context… I am 22 and in the UK. Currently doing an apprenticeship which I near completing (2 months away)… my contract is fixed term until end of February 2024 or until certificate received.
I work too hard for the amount I have under my name. I am still training and have been for a while. There are a lot of regulations and that to learn and my organisation is very political. I have wanted out for a while, but now that I am nearing completion of my apprenticeship, I am done.
I don't have a job after October 1st currently. I have been emptily promised raises, back-pay, extensions, but there is nothing in writing to confirm this. Currently at a bit of a loss… I won't have a job after the end of September, I have not been offered anything to confirm employment after certification or anything similar. Just the empty promises.
I am about done with work in general now. Been working since I was 16 just to get money, but at the point already that I am done with it. The organisation is good for training and that, but they are dragging their heels in with getting things authorised for my future…
