I, maybe stupidly, mentioned to coworker that the company can’t take her off overtime just because they made her salary due to needing to meet the OT exemption criteria for our state. She decided to “bring it to the attention” of our boss, who is now “looking into it”…
Pretty sure they’re going to be looking to let people go instead since we’re in a lovely state that allows for either party to end employment for any/no reason.
