Then after Friday I am handing in my two weeks. I have a suspicion of retaliation, so I am securing a job now (literally across the street).
Having worked at my current place since the end of 2021, the toxicity is unimaginable. Public humiliation of employees, not paying fairly, obvious favouritism, and unstable boss. All current employees being told that “we hired three new people, if you don’t work harder they are your replacements.”
I’ve been called stupid, annoying, useless, and much more while busting my ass and getting them through understaffed times/busy season. The worst bullying from the owner/management themselves. Yet, I only work with 2 people I started with. The managers.
I wrote my two weeks last night and got a text to come to an interview this morning. Change is scary but god i’m so glad to be rid of that place.
