I went to a scheduled job interview yesterday, specifically scheduled by the store manager. I took the day off for this interview because it’s a management position in a store I like. When I came there, all the staff were wondering and told me that she already left. I showed them the email she sent me and tried to contact the manager but no respond. It was only 2pm so I waited for her to email or call me back that day. I was so frustrated and completely wasted my time driving all the way to another town.
I also had an interview in another store for management that lasted one hour. She took my availability and I had to work around their schedule for a second round of interview but never got back to me anymore. I did one follow up because she always emphasized that she always checks her email.
I had few more interviews when the interviewers were extremely late and I had to “take a look at the store” awkwardly while waiting for 20-30 minutes.
I’ve been on a job hunt for 8 months now. I just want a long-term permanent full time job. Currently working 2 part time jobs that won’t even get me to 30 hours per week.
