Started a new job because my old one got toxic and everyone was leaving.
Started this job Monday, Zero training they said stay with Gabriel he will help you out.
Gab didn’t help in any way and was slow at the job. Wednesday they say your doing great we are going to need you to take charge of Gab and get him to do more.
I tired he ignored everything I said or told him to do. Some safety issues and some issues of him just not caring or trying.
Friday come and they said “You have to make sure Gab finishes his work if he doesn’t finish it’s your fault for not leading him”
He didn’t finish his job after me telling him to. Told the boss and he told me to try harder.
Expressed this with the assistant manager (1year there) she said “ they only hire people that will do their work and Gabs work because he is special needs and can’t do the work also he is the managers son in law”
That was it for me, I finished my shift went to the office and said “This place had been horrible from the start, no trying expected to be a lead/senior/manager with no pay to show for it. Expected to do 2 peoples work with no questions asked ? Not even paper plates or forks in the kitchen.
