My sister works for this company where the manager has multiple complaints of sexism against him. He is a real suck up with senior management to of course nothing happens to him. She found out after she joined that he fires every woman within the year of her joining. Now she thinks she's next because she saw him talking to HR and HR was telling him to do things by the rules. She thinks it means she will be handed a PIP even though her reviews are largely positive and she got a bonus.
Lately, she has been isolated from the team by her manager. She is the only female in the department in a male-dominated field and they are extremely condescending when talking to her, make sexist remarks often, and do not include her in meetings. I don't think she is overthinking because she also heard her colleague, who sees her as a threat to his role, tell management to “manage her out.” I told her to document everything and start looking for a job. But she wants to break the trend of being yet another woman who is used like a pawn and fired within a year. I don't think it is worth it but she is adamant. What should she do? Any legal advice?
