Folks over in r/jobs told me to repost over here.
Back in Feb, I put in pto request that I will be out of the office during the first week of July. Mind you I only requested three days because we get two days off for the holiday.
Soon after he calls a meeting with everyone and says to stop requesting to take off multiple days at a time.
He has no problem with “approving” time off when it’s only one day though.
He pulls me to the side and tells me that it’s too soon to approve the pto because something might come up. Even if something comes up I won’t be here that’s why I’m putting in the request now…
