My coworker, (the project manager) never pays attention to status of things, then I have to go back and give her a trail of how we got to the last status. How do I address this progressional?

She’s been doing this since she started. I first thought it was her learning but I now see nothing really sticks. She doesn’t respond to the same email threads about the same topic, instead she often creates new ones. I understand mistakes but these simple things happen too much. She will chat and email about the same topic and then I’m left trying to figure out where we are. She has sent me text messages when working on RUSH orders to say she sent an email, but when working with anyone else in the company or just our team, I’ve never had to do this. There have been times I have gotten behind at times due to the amount of work, but never missed a rush order, so I’d understand her follow ups to an extent.
