I work in a startup as a software developer. My manager praised me today in 1 on 1 and told he'll create a promotion case for me in upcoming appraisal cycle. And told that remove dependency on your senior, he'll be moving to other project completely in a few days and I'll be handling whole coding part of the product that I'm working on. I'm happy today i guess.
