Nothing like a corporate run food pantry to admit you pay your workers too little

This is a Coworker to Coworker pantry, too. So all they're providing is the space. I work in a manufacturing plant, so I have no idea if this is also for the office/corporate employees as well and I have no idea if they're encouraged to donate either. This is in a HCOL area, where the base pay is $17 (up to 19) the former of which is $3.35 over state min wage, and .29c LESS than the capital city's min wage, of which we are part of the larger metro area. Median area income is around 117K. I am paid at least $3 under market rate for my position, so this is a massive punch in the gut since I already had to fight for a $1 raise. While I'm looking for another job, overnights for my position don't come up often.
