help me weigh the pros and cons please because I am having a hard time

My main concern was talking to my boyfriend about it but he thinks it's an excellent idea and is supportive so here goes … I just started working as a non-licensed technician in a hospital. The pay is $13.87 so about $11.54 after taxes. It's not the best pay out there … Anyway I've been here 8 weeks and I hate it. The usual things are the problem like being disrespected by a boss who constantly rewrites the rules when she changes her mind from one week to another, other people being disrespectful, low-pay, and frankly, being the main employee picking up any slack around here CONSTANTLY. I've decided I want to really try the remote job ordeal. I'm tired of waking up at 5 am for a job I am barely paid to do practically by myself. I want to make my own schedule and use my bachelor's degree!!!!…

I don’t think I can take it anymore

I'm writing this as I get ready to go into my factory job of 3 and a half years. It's not a good environment to say the least, it's beyond toxic. Today I'll be attending the third funeral of a close friend in 5 months. This one prick at my factory came in 7 beers deep and tried starting shit with me as soon as I walked in yesterday morning, and because I wouldn't take his shit decided to be loud as possible and humiliate me in front of my coworkers, David, if you see this, I hope you know I've lost all empathy for you as a person, you could get sold into human trafficking and it would be impossible for me to even care about you. I've had to take shit for being bisexual for most of my life, but I'm not gonna take it at work. I…

Just got rejected from a job for not showing enough enthusiasm for the role

Despite asking question about the company, it’s clients, the tech, the people, the day to day running of the company, the role in question and if the company does any charity work. I honestly feel these companies just want to see a fucking boner during the interview. Having to act like this just to get a job is the most frustrating thing I’ve ever encountered it just seems to be so humiliating and kinda socially engineering candidates to be a certain way. Does anyone else feel a sense of humiliation after experiences like this?

Ok, let’s go full on nukes

a To whom it may Concern, If my trainer chooses that he's going to spend his day, loading and unloading trucks, instead of telling me anything pertinent to do my job, I will follow direction accordingly. I'm very confused as to how I'm supposed to be trained when I am not allowed to see the tickets for the trucks I'm supposed to load. I have not had an opportunity to effect change, or take ownership of the warehouse while the pace of work is dictated to me, according to my supervisor's whims, so he can make it look like I'm not working. I've seen petty gamesmanship before, but never at such a low level. It's just sad, and uncomfortable to have to work with someone who clearly has zero understanding of the value of work. I do not understand why we cannot communicate any information necessary to fulfill goals, as…

Refusal to pay Holiday Rates.

I live in Australia (NSW) and I work at my university’s accessibility department. My work entails going to different classes and lectures and taking notes on behalf of students who face accessibility issues. Sometimes these classes are live, sometimes they are recorded. In my work roster at the start of this semester, I was rostered to work on 2 public holidays (18/04 & 25/04). I have worked in this position for the last year and a half and I have previously worked on Sundays (and successfully claimed higher pay for these days) without needing approval from my manager. The classes on these two dates were recorded (they are usually live every Monday morning) since it was a public holiday. I kept myself free on these public holidays so that I could do my work only to suddenly find out that I cannot claim the higher holiday rate for work done…
