I've never understood why some workers adopt this mentality. In my previous job at Domino's as a delivery driver there was another driver there who had been working there for about 7 years and was constantly giving orders and “suggestions” as if he was a manager but he wasn't because drivers can't be managers. He also was being paid the exact same as me (minimum wage) despite giving himself all this extra responsibility. There was also a similar situation with one of the in-store staff members. Despite being paid the same as all her colleagues, she was constantly trying to micro manage people and push the companies targets – as if she was going to see a penny of the increased profits! I understand some people want to move up the old corporate ladder but these people had been working there for years and have never applied for a management…
Is my work in a position to be reported?
Long story short I work in a production job and am going on my 5th year. Last year out of the blue in like February our HR announced they will be fronting our vacation time starting the beginning of the following year, and that we won’t accrue any for 2021. We all were fucking pissed obviously, but now here I am in 2022. In January I was fronted my full 168 hours for the year. Now, they announced we no longer will be fronted and will start accruing based on hours worked again. So my balance is now at zero, with my work claiming we can go negative based on the integrity of the employee. Am I missing something here? I missed a full year of vacation pay, got fronted this year, then had it taken away to be told I’m supposed to accrue it hourly once again. Any help…

Withholding my ex co worker check
Looks like my boss is withholding ex co worker check until she returns her apron and uniform back. She has already done the hours but he refuses to give to her unless she returns the uniforms. Then when asked about it he said there’s a contract we signed saying that they’re allowed to do this. Any tips on this?
This happened two days ago, and I still can't believe it happened. I work in a Mortgage lending office and my co-worker and I are both Administrators. We work in close quarters and I noticed when she got to work she wasn't feeling well. Her face was pretty gray and she was sweating a lot. She was also about 3 months pregnant. I asked her if she needed anything and she said she was fine. We worked for a little while, then she grasped her stomach and said she needed to go to the bathroom. When she stood up, her white pants were soaked in blood. Forgetting that she was pregnant for a split second, I asked if she was on her period and if she needed a pad. It was at this point when everything fell apart in a matter of 15 seconds. I immediately realized my mistake and…
I can't with these people. I left a job four years ago, and this week they emailed me asking for account log-in details to various third party accounts. As if I could possibly remember any of that four years later. I found it in the goodness of my heart to email them back noting that as this is FOUR YEARS ago I no longer have this information. I added that I supplied all information relevant to my position in the documentation I left behind. Can you believe it, they emailed back, asking that I provide them with a clue where to start looking in the documentation. “Any thoughts?” I handed over maybe 4 moderate worksheets and text instructions in total, so they would easily be able to scan them for login details in 30 minutes or less. JFC, you lazy, entitled pricks. I'm guessing they have lost my files and…
