Just frustrated this weekend. I interviewed with a well known big tech company that has an office in my city. The job was posted in my city, no mention of relocation. At the start, I confirm everything, recruiter tells me total compensation will be around 200k and will be based in my city on the initial screener call. About 1.5 months later, I finish all interviews and last week I received the offer. They raise the comp a bit to 230k and tell me I would be required to relocate to California. Hey everyone, first time poster, thought about using a throwaway but decided not to because if my boss sees this well maybe you should pay more. I work in a small(ish) town of about 10k people in Washington state. Minimum wage here is 14.49. Sounds decent enough but currently we are going through this massive transition to trying to be the next big city (about a 30 minute drive from Olympia) so a lot of houses/apartments runs about 1200 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath. I went to college and got my AAS. Have my CompTIA + and sec+ all of this was paid out of pocket and using grants. I've got two kids and I'm a single dad. Working 40 hours a week and going to school full time. Not trying to use my kids at all, I'd never take those moments back and I don't regret having them.…

Last Monday while preparing for Monday Night Raw they were made aware of their booking for the night and were dissatisfied, according to most sources I've seen they felt that it would have weakened the belts they were holding and even according to WWE, “They claimed they weren’t respected enough as tag team champions,” However, according to another source when they attempted to address their issues a second time they were met with a higher up in the company screaming at them and essentially telling them to shut the fuck up and know their place. To all those who find themselves working in the same job, going f*kn mental, wanting out but just can't because they need the dollars: CHANGE IS AS GOOD AS A HOLIDAY!!! Monotony is not for all! I recently left my job as a telemarketer in an advertising firm. My boss and I got on soooo well. Was literally the best workplace of my life. Was great at the job, top of the quarter every quarter. But after a measly 6 months (probably still the longest I've ever had any one job) I was about to start ripping fistfuls of hair out if I had to call another business and say that script once more. Other than being used for meat, I'm starting to see we are slowly losing everything that would be “human rights”. States are starting to force you to have offspring, regardless of concent. They are basically bidding on the lowest cost that they can get for you. I always felt that I was just a number to corporations, either as a customer or an employee. Hell, we may as well just get a tag on our ear with our SSN. This is focused to the US, but I've heard alot of issues in other countries as well.

My boyfriend called out for tomorrow because of possibly being sick. He’s getting tested tomorrow, but he doesn’t want to risk going and getting anyone sick because he works with a bunch of people over 60. And the CEO herself went out of her way to slam him and bitch at him for being “irresponsible” and claim that COVID isn’t real anymore like two people in her office didn’t call out for the same thing last week. I’m just pulling out my hair over this.

Bought a dozen eggs at the grocery store and they were $3.79. They were 1.79 maybe 6 months ago. These were regular, not cage free, or even organic!WTF!?!?
