I am leaving my current company. The sole reason for this is the boss. Colleagues are regularly treated like dirt and thank God I don't have to do that to myself anymore. I don't want to just leave the store without anything happening. I would like to give the boss a big lesson. Do you have any creative ideas?
Hi everyone, I need some help here. I am a retail manager in London, UK. I usually get paid every last business day of the month, but for the first time last month my salary was not accredited in my bank account and, upon my request, my my store manager was vaguely dismissive and he claimed there was an “error” with global payroll. Fast forward a week after, I finally get paid but when I check my account I only got ~50% of what I was supposed to be paid. Now another week has gone by and it’s been a back and forth of me, my store manager and someone in HR to figure out what happened but lately the HR person has ghosted my email and I’m still awaiting a clear response AND My payslip. I don’t know what to do and what my rights are here in the…
I am a very mission driven person who likes to take ownership for the work I do. The company I am working in currently has a non-toxic culture. We are treated humanly and people are polite. No backstabbing and noticeable politics. However, communication is an issue. We sell many types of products. When we get a product upgrade (the new shipment we receive has a better feature, for example), no one working at the frontline knows. As there is no one being accountable towards the product features and specifications, the information displayed for marketing purposes could be misleading and we wouldnt know until we receive complaints. Sometimes, the company would introduce new products that are from an entirely different category out of the blue, and want us to sell them without increasing resources, adding burden to the frontline who has already been handling over 50 products of different categories. Working…
Ok. So for context I am 16 years old, not in school but instead studying a certificate in IT. Over the past week i've worked around 43 hours give or take. Most of the shifts weren't extremely long but last week I worked every day except one. I ended up burning out and also making myself sick in the process, and for all that work I got 450 dollars. Something just doesn't feel fair about that, like I put in so much to the point it costed me my wellbeing, and I didnt really get much in return. Can someone sanity check me and provide what they think? I just feel like i've been short strawed.
Can you still buy and sell stuff from people without paying any form of taxes and without needing to be a official independant worker? Just started looking into sovereignty but I can't find any info about how to make money as a sovereign citizen.
