President Teddy Roosevelt: “We stand for a living wage. Wages are subnormal if they fail to provide a living for those who devote their time and energy to industrial occupations. The monetary equivalent of a living wage varies according to local conditions, but must include enough to secure the elements of a normal standard of living–a standard high enough to make morality possible, to provide for education and recreation, to care for immature members of the family, to maintain the family during periods of sickness, and to permit of reasonable saving for old age.” Citation: https://www.ssa.gov/history/trspeech.html
WTF do managers even do!?
I ask the project manager literally ANY question, and he just refers me to the engineer. I ask him for help doing something, and somehow it gets thrown back at me and becomes my responsibility. Where a few dum dums got their revenge on everyone by being the sociopathic mid level managers to do the dirty work in return for bonus pay. It was awful and where alot of our modern problems descend from. Last night the President said this. “”We have a choice,” Biden said. “One way to fight inflation is to drive down wages and make Americans poorer. I have a better plan to fight inflation: lower your costs, not your wages.” “That means make more cars and semiconductors in America, more infrastructure and innovation in America,” Biden said, reeling off a list of U.S. manufacturing announcements over the past year. “Instead of relying on foreign supply chains,…
