Truth to be told.
Just my two cents

State Lawmaker Says Pennsylvania Should Move To 4-Day, 32-Hour Workweek – CBS Pittsburgh (cbslocal.com)
Background: I have anxiety and PTSD. One of my pets has naturally picked up on my triggers and is able to alert me before I have a panic attack that I need to give myself space. If I have a panic attack this dog also knows to apply his full body weight to me to help me through the panic attack. This dog has never been professionally trained though, so he doesn't meet the criteria for my state or my work place to be a service animal. This dog is simply an emotional support animal since he hasn't had official training, and a lot of people think ESA's are a joke because of how many people use that label to get their pets into places. I had a panic attack at work in late January. In early February I requested to bring my ESA with me to work. I…
Dual income required now?
I'm dating a great girl but she's been getting her hours cut to miniscule amounts without warning. I have a career lined up where our household income (if I move in) would be 60k. Is this even doable nowadays? Lets say she stops working, shouldn't I be able to support her and two kids on my job that I had to go to school for 4 years to get? She's very independent and she wants to work but her job is shafting her to 30 or fewer hrs a week. So this post is a double whammy where my future spouse has her hours cut without notice and me who couldn't support just the 2 of us in our location. Wasn't there a time when a single income was all that was required (and forced because of sexism)? Now two working adults is required to just rent let alone buy…
Job Asking to contribute to their PAC
I'm completely dumbfounded by this. I work in the South so I can't get too specific but I work in the healthcare field and I was forwarded an email less than half an hour ago asking to donate to the company's PAC. Some of the wording that was used consisted of: ' we have to be politically active to survive and thrive' ' our PAC was formed to support our industry… Not for political ideologies' ' donating is purely voluntarily…. We strongly encourage you to donate from your paycheck' I don't even know what to think, other than I need to start looking for another job. Is this even legal?
My goal to free my time
In a effort to free myself from the endless dependence on full time employment. I’ve begun expanding my ventures. I’ve started creative projects and have my girl grinding out pocket change being a“thot “ on the internet. It’s been a year long process and progress has been made slowly but surely. I manage to get approved for Uber so that missing work doesn’t hurt as much. I no longer have to suffer waiting around for money to come in. Makes me happy not having my life hold waiting on large checks. Any idea or tips for lifestyle changes would be helpful.
