For some background: I am working at my first job out of college (I have had internships and prior work experience in my field, but this is my first full-time job) and I have been working at this company for just over a year and was promoted recently from associate to analyst. Hey everyone, I’m feeling fairly livid yet defeated. I’ve been at a job for 8 months, and in that time I have churned out insane amounts of work. I also started a masters program to enrich my skills at the job, often working 60-65 hour weeks to balance it all. With all of this, I took on twice as much as work as anyone at my level, came in with more experience than most people at my level, and have been constantly flexible in helping out wherever I can to gain experience and earn a promotion. So I'm not going to mince words and I'll post the messages verbatim because I want to see what people think. But basically, I had a hiring person email me asking when I was free. Then, after telling her that, with the exception of tomorrow, I'd be free any Monday, Wednesday, Friday after 2 PM and she immediately replied back asking if tomorrow at 1 PM would work.
