Hi, so, i am from Venezuela, and started to work at a mixed state-private owned company since November last year. I was given a Tax disclosure by the company, where tells my salary from the last 2 months of the year. I needed to declare it to the tax collecting institution (Seniat), but, some workers came to the company place and started to take it from the workers, so good luck for me. Been thinking about ways one could provide housing without becoming a leechy landlord. The most ethical idea I’ve come up with so far is buying properties and “renting” them for free or giving them away to those who are in need of housing. Curious if there’s other thoughts or ideas I haven’t considered!

I'm currently finishing up the final semester of my undergraduate degree, and I'm planning on doing my serious job-hunting after I've finished up my semester. Last week I received a cold-call email (from someone who I would later find out is an HR manager) asking if I'd be interested in working as a Finance Associate at a domestic company. I emailed back and asked for more details, which the manager provided me, as well as a link to a formal application form (which had not existed on the website before – I checked their website out as soon as they emailed me the first time and there were no job listings or details about a Finance Associate).
